Since Mr. Kagen will neither confirm nor deny this story, CSW is accepting it as the ugly truth of the novice democrat's outright arrogance.

It has been reported that at a White House reception for newly elected members of congress, Kagen purposely addressed Laura Bush as Barbara.

"I did that because I learned on the campaign trail that the meanest thing you can say to another gentleman is, 'He's a fine fellow.' And then you refer to his spouse by a different name."

Kagen was miffed that President Bush campaigned against him. He told Bush that his campaigning against him indirectly helped him win.

At that same White House reception, Kagen reportedly held the restroom door closed when he and Carl Rove were alone. He told Rove "You're in the White House and think you're safe, huh?" And then said to Rove, "You recognize me? My name's Dr. Multimillionaire and I kicked your ass."

Kagen is a multimillionaire physician who spent millions of his own dollars to get elected.

Carl Rove responded with "Congratulations," and walked out.

Folks, we are in for a long two years.
