Two gentlemen separated at birth and now conjoined through stupidity.

Their Iraq war plans aren't plans for victory. They are plans for an unconditional surrender. On "Meet the Press" Sunday 2/18/07, Sen. Chuck Hagel said he agreed with Murtha's Iraq "plan" saying he, Murtha, "makes some very valid points." Murtha's best point is the one on his head. He wants to cut the funding to our troops in Iraq to hasten an end to the war.

Brit Hume said it best on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.

"Look, this man (Murtha) has tremendous cache among House Democrats, but he is not — this guy is long past the day when he had anything but the foggiest awareness of what the heck is going on in the world."

He later said, "….and the fact that he has ascended to the position he has in the eyes of the Democrats in the House and perhaps Democrats around the country tells you a lot about how much they know or care about what’s really going on over there (Iraq)."

And because Presidential hopeful Chuck Hagel supports Murtha, he can join him on the STUP couch.
