The STUP Award

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV)

CSW 07-20

On "Face The Nation" TV program of 7/22/07, senator Harry Reid said this to host Bob Schieffer regarding President Bush, "…. the president's already--has the mark of the American people that he's the worst president we've ever had…"

We know the old standby argument that Reid has a constitutional right to state his opinion and we agree that he indeed has that right. However, we have the right to say it's a stupid opinion, which we will now do, "It's a stupid opinion."

This guy Reid is so afraid he may lose his "majority-leader" status in '08 that he will say any outrageous thing to appease his voters. He doesn't care that his comments hurt the USA abroad. If they are anti-Bush, Reid believes they are true and correct and he'll say them regardless of any consequences.

This is the democrats' way of exercising their new-found majority, not by passing constructive legislation but, by taking every chance they get to slam the President. It's childish, vindictive, and immature. Fitting,...... that also describes Harry Reid.
