My computer won't let me link onto CSW from its website so I'm sending this via regular e-mail. I took that quiz about the candidate match. And as I thought, no one was clearly a match. The closest I got was 48% match with Bill Richardson. Even McCain was only 38%. Most were Republicans in the middle and the bottom were the frontrunning Dems--at least that might be somewhat of a consolation.

In '91/'92, there was a little known Governor who
very few gave any chance of securing the Democratic
nomination. He, to my chagrin, not only secured the
nomination but went on to serve two terms as
President. Could Mike Huckabee replay this scenario,
but on the GOP side? I think Governor Huckabee fills
the shoes most GOPers are looking for. The only
question, which was certainly asked in '92.....Can he
win? I think he can.
He has been set on a shelf as a second tier candidate
because of the media play given McCain, Romney and the
liberal former Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani.
These three are RINO's at best and will be a
disappointment to voters.
Governor Huckabee has the qualifications and the
conservative credentials to fill the bill.
Thompson......???? He has announced but I think he
has the same conservative creds as Romney, McCain and
Giuliani....very few.
I think all of those who are of a conservative
leaning need to take a long hard look at the former
Arkansas Governor. I think you will be pleasantly
surprised.
