California Fires blamed on Bush
Barbra Boxer (D-CA) says firefighting troops are tied up fighting in Iraq therefore, unable to help with the firefighting efforts in California. Her ignorance is surpassed only by her stupidity when you consider that 17,000 California National Guard troops are standing by if needed at the beck and call of California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
And Connecticut senator and democratic presidential candidate Christopher Dodd made the most inane statement when he said quote, "As you know, Governor Schwarzenegger has had to ask other states for help because so many of California's National Guard, who provide critical support to the citizens while you are fighting the fires, were deployed to Iraq. In a Dodd Administration, never again will our houses be on fire because our troops are taking fire in Iraq. Never again will our first responders be left without the support they need because our President failed to do what it took to keep our communities safe. That is why in 2008, nothing will be more important than leadership that can get results that make us stronger and more secure. That's the first responsibility of an American President."
The houses in California are burning because of the war in Iraq? Can you believe that a United States senator could say such a stupid thing? Forget he's a democrat. Well, we can't forget that, but this man is a complete wacko.
Those of you thinking of voting for the democrats in the next election better take note. It's a party fraught with wackos just like Dodd.
Katrina's last laugh
Bobby Jindal (R-LA) is the newly elected governor of Louisiana.
Katrina is laughing wildly at the democrats who had the audacity to blame President Bush for the failures of the hurricane relief effort. Rather than looking inward at the incompetence of New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and then Louisiana governor Kathleen Blanco, the dems blamed the Republican Bush administration and President Bush in particular.
This past Tuesday, 10/23/07, an Indian American and Republican named Bobby Jindal was elected governor of Louisiana.
The people knew the truth. Congrats to Mr. Jindal.
Nancy Pelosi supports the elimination of God
A 17 year old Dayton, Ohio boy, Andrew Larochelle, wanted the below inscription on a certificate of authenticity for an American flag that flew over the U.S. Capitol. The flag was to be a gift to his grandfather, an 81 year old WW II veteran.
"In honor of my grandfather Marcel Larochelle, and his dedication and love of God, country, and family."
When the flag arrived the inscription read "In honor of my grandfather Marcel Larochelle, and his dedication and love of country and family."
Gee, what happened to God? It seems Stephen T. Ayers, acting architect of the Capitol, felt the inscription would have violated the rule that states no political or religious expressions are allowed on the certificates.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defended the omission and said she had no plans to change the existing rules.
Too bad, too sad, Ms. Nancy. After a public outcry regarding the omission, Ayers reversed his decision and the certificates will now allow God to be mentioned. Boy, that's big of him!!
What the voice of the majority can do. Remember that in '08.
The democrats running our Country? Are you nuts? Vote Republican in '08.
Think about it
Mike wrote CSW, "They say that Christopher Columbus was the first Democrat. When he left to discover America, he didn't know where he was going. When he got here he didn't know where he was. And it was all done on a government grant."
Q: Why did God create Democrats?
A: In order to make used car salesmen look good.Q: What do you get when you cross a bad politician with a bad lawyer?
A: Chelsea.Thanks, desert Mike.
Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your attention and have a good evening.
