And the people say .
Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned
Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Harry Belafonte, Cindy Sheehan, and Naomi Campbell might kiss the rear end of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez upon their visits to his domain, but be assured his ex-wife isn't doin' the smoochin'.
Maria Isabel Rodriguez has apologized to the Venezuelan people for ever being part of the Chavez regime. "I'm not directly responsible for the things happening in the country, but I have to recognize that at some point I was part of this [government] and I want to apologize."
She is encouraging the people to vote against the Chavez constitutional proposals which essentially would allow him to become an official dictator and put an end to Venezuelan democracy.
Kudos Maria Isabel Rodriguez. You are more level headed than the aforementioned "Americans" reveling in the butt kissing of your former hubby Hugo!!
Sandy Berger
Remember this guy when he was stuffing his pants with things other than socks? As a matter of fact he was stuffing his socks, too, with National Archive secret documents. After pleading guilty, fined $50,000, given community service and probation, and having his security clearance suspended until September 2008, this lamebrain was hired by Hillary to be an "advisor" to her '08 election campaign. What's he advising her to do???? This is just silly. Berger is a criminal. Says a lot about the Clintons. Rumor has it he was stealing documents injurious to Bill Clinton's reputation regarding Osama Bimboladen.
In our July 26, 2004 issue, CSW wrote this:
HEY! IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYBODY
Sandy Berger had no ill intent when he inadvertently took top-secret documents from the National Archives. Geez. Cant a former National Security Advisor make a little mistake without everyone blowing it out of proportion? Look at me. I visited my neighbors yesterday and inadvertently walked out with their living room couch. I explained to the police that it was just an honest mistake. Theyre investigating. So come on. Give Sandy a break. It can happen to anybody.
We will now extricate our tongue from our cheek.
EEOC & the English Language Controversy
Latinos Outraged
Is it lawful to require your employees to speak English? Not according to Nancy Pelosi. She is trying to stifle a bill that would protect employers from lawsuits who require their workers to speak English.
CSW wrote about this when the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) brought suit against the Salvation Army. Here is our very short write-up (CSW).
Pelosi decided it would be politically expedient to attempt to kill the bill after the House Hispanic Caucus threatened to shoot down a democratic tax bill if she didn't oppose the "English only" bill.
Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) who sponsored the bill said, "I cannot imagine that the framers of the 1964 Civil Rights Act intended to say that it's discrimination for a shoe shop owner to say to his or her employee, 'I want you to be able to speak America's common language on the job.'"
Rep. Charlie Gonzalez (D-TX) rebutted, "You can have English-only rules . . . if in fact that English-only rule is relevant to job performance, safety, efficiency and so on. If it is not relevant, if it is discriminatory, if it is gratuitous, if it is a subterfuge to discriminate against people based on national origin -- which we know that's what it is -- the EEOC doesn't allow it."
All CSW has to say is, "you est uno stupido amigo."
Rosie O'Donnell
The overweight nitwit is at it again. During a fund raiser for her For All Kids Foundation, a charitable organization, Rosie took time from an auction she was conducting to nonsensically and abruptly yell "George Bush is a war criminal." That's right Rosie, that's what you're supposed to do at a children's fund raiser. You are such a jerk! The attendees stared, not knowing what was next from this moron, but were otherwise undeterred enjoying the frivolity of donating millions of dollars.
Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your attention and have a good evening.
The bar is open.
How do you see it?
