Barack Hussein Obama
CSW 07-27
You can say what you want about his candor and honesty, but CSW thought Obama's true confessions belonged more in a rag magazine than a high school speech. If you don't know what we are referring to we will clue you in.
On Tuesday, 11/20/07, presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL) was making a campaign stop disguised as a policy speech on education. It took place in New Hampshire's Manchester Central High School. Afterward he had Q & A with the students.
In response to a question about his own high school experiences Barack Hussein Obama said, "I made some bad decisions that I've actually written about. There were times when I, you know, got into drinking, experimented with drugs. There was a whole stretch of time where I didn't really apply myself a lot."
One student's perspective, "I'm glad that he was honest about it. It's obvious that, like, he's learned from his mistakes. He's been there. He knows what not to do." The student went on to say "There might be people that do drink or do experimental drugs and they may think that they are not going to get very far in life, but obviously Sen. Obama has gotten pretty far in life."
Hey kid! Don't get the idea that because this dingbat saw a need to come clean means its fine to drink and do drugs in high school and grow up to be president. Obama is just trying to "get down" with the kids and hopes they will think he's cool.
Living a life of privilege might have had something to do with Obama's getting "pretty far in life." For certain it wasn't the poor little black boy pulling himself up by the bootstraps out of the underworld of drugs. The high school Obama attended, Punahou High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, today costs $15725 per year to attend grades K-12. He then went on to Columbia University and Harvard Law School.
To leave these students with the false impression that drug and alcohol use is fine if you know when to quit is irresponsible and absolutely not presidential.
