"I salute you, Hugo Chavez."

(Roger Cohen, NYT, 12/06/07 )

We shudder upon hearing the words "according to the New York Times." All that comes to mind is "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men (or the New York Times)?" Take for instance the ignorance of and deception propagated by New York Times op-ed columnist Roger Cohen.

When past STUP Hugo Chavez lost his bid to remain the "president," otherwise known as dictator, of Venezuela for life, Chavez spun his loss by saying these most insincere of words, "The people's decision will be upheld in respect of the basic rule of democracy: the winning option is the one that gets most votes." (or until my army crushes the infidels who voted against me)

Neo-STUP Cohen, believing the piffle spewed by madman Chavez, wrote this in the NYT, "The United States might ponder those words, not just because of what happened in the presidential election of 2000; not just because the arithmetic of voting has proved unpalatable in Palestine; not just because of the past U.S.-abetted trampling of elected Latin American leaders in Chile and elsewhere, but because democracy was alive and vital in Venezuela on Sunday in a way foreign to President Bush’s America."

Pass me a huge barf bag, Betty; insanity has hit the Times! Can you believe the hatred these morons have against President Bush? To say something so utterly stupid not only describes Cohen but, once again, degrades what in times past was known as the Great Gray Lady.
