And the people say…………….

John "Turn the Other Cheek" McCain

When radio talk show host Bill Cunningham warmed up the crowd in Cincinnati Tuesday 2/26/08 for John McCain, Cunningham used Barack Obama's middle name "Hussein" several times. Big deal. We at CSW do the same thing because that is his middle name and we don't like the name and it's something we can deride him about, okay?

Apparently, Mr. McCain felt an overwhelming need for contrition of Cunningham's sins and profusely apologized for Cunningham's inferences.

"I apologize for it," McCain said.

"I did not know about these remarks, but I take responsibility for them. I repudiate them."

"My entire campaign I have treated Senator Obama and Senator Clinton with respect. I will continue to do that throughout this campaign."

He called Clinton and Obama "honorable Americans" and said, "I want to dissociate myself with any disparaging remarks that may have been said about them."

Someone asked McCain if the use of Obama's middle name is okay. McCain replied, "No, it is not. Any comment that is disparaging of either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama is totally inappropriate."

Well, bless our soul what's wrong with us? We're sorry as a man on a broke down bus. Give us a break, McCain. Ya gotta get tough and stop being such a wimpy goody-two-shoes.

When asked if it was okay to make fun of radical murderous Islamists McCain said, "Absolutely not. America is better than that. Terrorists have feelings, too, you know." Okay, so we made this up, but it sounds like something McCain might say.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your attention and have a good evening.

The bar is open.

How do you see it?
