When Prince Harry, a British soldier and third in line to be the King of England, was going to be deployed to Afghanistan for six months, the British press were sworn to secrecy, not to divulge his location for safety's sake. For ten weeks the British press held true to their vow. It wasn't until an Australian newspaper reported it and an American website picked up on it that the world knew of Harry's venture. Shortly after his whereabouts were made public, Prince Harry was recalled back to England.

Can you imagine the U.S. press keeping a secret that long? The New York Times can't keep a wartime secret for an hour.

Congrats, Brits, for your patriotism, unheard of by the NYT.
