- I apologize but I couldn't believe the story about the apology in Iraq. I googled it and CSW was right. Sorry, I read about it in the New York Times. What a trdgedy. Maybe we should come home now.

- I wonder why we give ink to this type nonsense. When will the people of this country understand, any presidential candidate can make all the promises they want, but nothing can be implemented unless the true ruler of this nation agrees! Who? Congress of course. Am I wrong?
Ed. Note: Americans are cavalier, ambivalent, totally disinterested and ignorant of politics until something comes along that hits their proverbial pocketbook. Barack Obama can do nothing about the oil prices although he tells Americans that he can and they bow down to his empty promises.

- In 2007 Obama gave a speech telling how he will down size the Military, cut off Stategic Weaponry in the world and bring about peaceful negotiations. The Obama admiring young people ( and they are also new voters) are thinking he is hitting a Home Run with this kind of talk. He is actually Striking Out ! They are to nieve tc realize that there is a price to pay for Peace ! These Obama Policies will put the U.S.A. playing in the Minor Leagues!!
Ed. Note: The young people of today think wars are fought on a monitor and they get "do-overs" when they screw up. Society will rue the day these kids grow up as our "leaders" and reality sets in that life isn't a video game.
