Arrogant? Not me!!

Obama denies he is arrogant. He claims McCain's hatchet men made up the persona.

"I don’t know that there's that perception. That's something that's being fed to the media by them. I get no sense that it's taken," he said. "I think what would be useful is to ask the question, what's this based on. It's not really clear exactly what it's based on."

"If I was presumptuous or taking this for granted, I wouldn't be working this hard this week. I'm beat," said Obama, laughing.

This jerk has an ad that at the end says "Paid for by Obama, President" not "Obama for President." And he wonders where the arrogance tag comes from? Spare us, Obama.

"If we can come up with a genuine bipartisan compromise, in which I have to accept some things that I don't like, or the Democrats have to accept some things that they don't like in exchange for actually moving us in the direction of actual energy independence, then that's something I'm open to," the Illinois Democrat said.

 

Weakness Abounds in Obama's Defense Plans

SENATOR BIDEN A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

Joe Biden disappointed us on the Imus show Fri morning, 9/17. Here’s a democrat who has good guy potential but has fallen into the democratic trap of Bush bashing. He had a few super ideas but he presented them not as alternatives to Bush’s policies but as slams against the President. "I would do such and such in Iraq differently than this incompetent administration. I’ve never seen such incompetence," he ranted and we paraphrased.

They, the dems, can’t say anything without bashing Bush. Biden has an ego the size of Texas and believes everything he says should be taken as Gospel. And drug worn Imus was patronizingly sweet and loving every minute of Biden’s acerbic critique of the administration. Imus is a Kerry supporter although he admitted he doesn't think Kerry can win. Even Kerry’s supporters think he’s a loser. CSW agrees with the dems on that issue! Biden is on the downslope.

The Callous Comments of a Congressman

The bad-mouth dems never fail to disappoint. The honors this time go again to Senator Joe Biden (D-DE).

Biden on Bush - While speaking in Des Moines, Biden once more referred to the President as "brain-dead." "This guy is brain dead," Biden said of Bush. "I know I’ll be quoted, I’ll be killed for that," he continued.

On the Scooter Libby commutation Biden said, "This is a guy [Bush] who is on the balls of his heels, here’s a guy who is lower off in the polls than any president in modern history and he goes ahead and he does something that just flies in the face of the sensibilities of the American people."

Biden on Rudy Giuliani - "I can hardly wait to debate Rudy Giuliani if he is their nominee," he said. "Because I will eat his lunch."

Biden on Mitt Romney - "I found Romney’s statements yesterday profound – crazy — when he talked about going to war with Iran, why are we talking about going to war with Iran?"

What were the "crazy" statements made by Romney? According to a Des Moines Register article, Romney said he would consider using military force against Iran if attempts to isolate and pressure its current regime fail. The country's history of genocide and the threat of its potential nuclear arsenal merit a "possible military strike" after economic and diplomatic sanctions prove unsuccessful.

Tell us, Joe Biden, what is so "crazy" about that? Biden's attitude is typical of the democrats' position on keeping America safe. Bottom line, they wouldn't.

 

The Return of the All Time Whiner

Tom Daschle made an appearance on FOX News Sunday, 8/03/08, bringing with him his "finger nails on the blackboard" whine. Complaining about McCain, comparing McCain to President Bush, and touting Obama via senseless rhetoric and indefensible positions, the former senator was the same old democratic whiner of old. He has become the yardstick by which all democratic whiners are measured. Give him his olympic due; he is a gold medalist at whining!
