The Ignorant Bliss of Passing Blame and Gas
Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) may deny, deny, and deny their causative association with the failed mortgage loan giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (Federal National Mortgage Association - "Fannie Mae" and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation - "Freddie Mac") but we can't allow their denial to obfuscate the congressmen's involvement. Both Frank and Durbin assured Americans just months before the collapse that Fannie and Freddie were in good condition and would be just "fine going forward." Watch the excuse ridden video of Bill O'Reilly and Barney Frank. Plausible deniability on the part of the dems? CSW doesn't think so and here is why.
The dems blame President Bush for everything from hurricanes to the bad economy because, they say, the party in "power" must accept the blame. Well, guess what pee brained dems, (yes, Betty, we spelled it exactly how we wanted) you are in "power" in the House and Senate and you failed to do anything about Fannie and Freddie despite the John McCain warning and the White House warning. The dems deny those warnings ever took place. Please click on the links to see the proof that the warnings not only took place, but were explicit.
Ladies and gentleman, Republicans are not without fault, but they aren't denying it. The democrats are in full denial mode. The democrats love the blissful feeling of passing blame. CSW contends they're also passing gas, an unpleasant visualization. If Barack Obama is elected president and the House and Senate come overwhelmingly under the control of democrats, that visualization, too, will be every bit as unpleasant, not to mention very dangerous.
After the election, we will have had eight years of blaming President Bush for everything regardless of who was at fault. Under an Obama administration we will have four more years of the same blame game. Change? Who are they kidding?
How do you see it?
