For What It's Worth
An opinion from the editor's desk

You may have the idea that I am pulling for Obama ..to fail. That's not the case. Rather, I want America to win and unfortunately Obama is the person Americans chose to carry the torch. As silly and dangerous as I find Obama's plans to be, there is nothing we can do but point out those goofy plans and hope they lose their way along the road to lawdom.
The dems are still beating up President Bush for leaving poor little Obama a trillion dollar budget deficit. Then the democratic congressional dufae turn around and approve Obama's trillion dollar plus spending bill. Their economic philosophy is that the only way to get out of debt is to spend more, not less. If it works, scientists worldwide will be re-writing the math books. I don't see it working. It will plunge America into an abyss from which we'll never recover, at least not in my lifetime or my sons' lifetime.
Obama's stance on socialistic ideas like spreading the wealth, 'nobody should fail,' universal health care, the Fairness Doctrine, Employee Free Choice Act which eliminates secret ballots for union voting, has us worried. Also, much, much higher taxes are a stones throw away. I don't want to sound as fatalistic as Glenn Beck, but America is in for some rough times like she has never before experienced. Capitalism is being threatened.
How do you see it?
