And the people say .
What's the Rush?
Ever since conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh said he hoped Obama's socialistic policies fail he has been under attack by the dems. Rush has now thrown down the gauntlet and challenged Obama to a debate. "Let's talk about the New Deal versus Reaganomics. Let's talk about closing Guantanamo Bay, and let's talk about sending $900 million to [terrorist group] Hamas. Let's talk about illegal immigration and the lawlessness on the borders," said Limbaugh. Pay Per View TV would make a fortune. Our $35 would be one of the first in the kitty.
The Obama gang picking fights with a talk show host just confirms our contentions from the get go; this kid has no place being a U.S. president. Obama is in so deep in his first few weeks of office, we don't think he can recover.
We, too, hope Obama's socialism falls on its big ears. Keep it going, Rush. We're with you.
Gallup Poll
Gallup Poll - February 27, 2009
"After dipping to 59% immediately before the president addressed a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night, Barack Obamas approval rating has rebounded and now stands at 67%, just two points below his high."
Butch Cassidy in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid asked, "Who are those guys?" We're asking the same question. Who are these people being polled? These polls never cease to amaze us. Are Americans so unaware of reality that they believe Obama's every word? Damn it's aggravating. Click here for up-to-date poll numbers.
CSW Poll
Question: Will Obama lose his economic inheritance due to whining or is it his forever? Our poll was unanimous. 100% of those surveyed said it's his baby now. He wanted this job and he's stuck with it. (Our poll consisted of 2 totally neutral participants who were in our office at the time.)
Not Another One
Yep!! Despite owing thousands of dollars in back taxes, former Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk will be Obama's main man regarding U.S. trade. A White House spokesman said the Kirk nomination was right on track with only "a few minor issues" remaining since Kirk has now paid his back taxes. Where will it end?
Sen. Pat Leahy (D-VT)
Investigating criminal charges against the Bush administration for alleged torture of Guantanamo detainees seems to be the overwhelming life desire of the less intelligent dems like Senator Patrick Leahy, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. A "truth commission" has been proposed to "explore and expose the Bush administration's policies on detention and interrogation" according to the New York Times.
Here is what Sen. Leahy said, "Nothing has done more damage to America's place in the world than the revelation that this nation stretched the law and the bounds of executive power to authorize torture and cruel treatment."
And we won't forget about Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. This jerk wants to establish an inquiry panel to investigate Bush and has introduced a bill to do just that.
A "truth commission." This is crap. The country is going to hell in a handbasket and these morons are still trying to pin something on former President Bush. Move on, jackasses, and do what you're being overpaid to do!! We don't care if the enemy cretins were tortured or not. Besides, you considered nudie piles in Iraq to be torture. What's next? Eating, breathing?
The Teleprompter
Several months ago CSW wrote about Obama's constant use of a teleprompter. We even made light of it (See Teleprompter). Now other sources are picking up on the fact that Obama is heavily reliant on the darn thing and has a hard time speaking without it. (See Politico)
I guess we've been right all along; this guy needs help. He sounds good as long as he's reading someone else's written words. Hmmmm. A deceitful president. Now that's change we can believe in. Yes we can.
How do you see it?
