And the people say…………….

1. Obama Blames His Socialistic Actions On Bush

Obama was asked by The New York Times if he is a socialist. In typical fashion, Obama curtly dismissed the question. But thinking about his answer or, better yet, non-answer, he later called the Times reporter and clarified his lack of response. "I did think it might be useful to point out that it wasn't under me that we started buying a bunch of shares of banks. It wasn't on my watch. And it wasn't on my watch that we passed a massive new entitlement - the prescription drug plan -- without a source of funding. And so I think it's important just to note when you start hearing folks throw these words around that we've actually been operating in a way that has been entirely consistent with free-market principles and that some of the same folks who are throwing the word 'socialist' around can't say the same."

Cry me a river!! Is this president Obama? Does he take responsibility for anything? The above sounds like a little kid complaining, "I didn't do it. Georgie did it."

For all the buildup his fans gave him, especially Germany, he sure has been a flop so far. Does he recall it was his tax cheating treasury secretary, Timothy Geithner, who helped draft some of the bailout plans for which he's blaming President Bush?

2. "Hope He Fails" Has Democratic Origins

Bill Sammon, Fox News Washington Managing Editor, is one of our favorite journalists. Below is part of a story he published 3/11/09.

On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, just minutes before learning of the terrorist attacks on America, Democratic strategist James Carville was hoping for President Bush to fail, telling a group of Washington reporters: "I certainly hope he doesn't succeed."

Carville was joined by Democratic pollster Stanley Greenberg, who seemed encouraged by a survey he had just completed that revealed public misgivings about the newly minted president.

"We rush into these focus groups with these doubts that people have about him [George W. Bush], and I'm wanting them to turn against him," Greenberg admitted.

The pollster added with a chuckle of disbelief: "They [the people] don't want him to fail. I mean, they think it matters if the president of the United States fails."

Minutes later, as news of the terrorist attacks reached the hotel conference room where the Democrats were having breakfast with the reporters, Carville announced: "Disregard everything we just said! This changes everything!"

Isn't that amazing? Obama and his cronies are jumping all over Rush Limbaugh for saying he hopes Obama's socialistic programs fail, and all along Obama's own party was saying more egregious things about President Bush. This is the typical bullcrap we get from these democratic imbeciles. Read the entire story here

3. The Audacity of Stupism

On Meet the Press 3/15/09, Christina Romer, one of Obama's top economic advisers, said "the fundamentals (of the economy) are sound."

On or about 9/14/08 John McCain said the same thing (watch 25 sec video). He was excoriated for saying it. Barack Obama had this to say about McCain's remark, "I just think he doesn't know. He doesn't get what's happening between the mountain in Sedona where he lives and the corridors of Washington where he works.... Why else would he say, today, of all days -- just a few hours ago -- that the fundamentals of the economy are still strong? Senator -- what economy are you talking about?"

Obama lashed out at Ms. Romer, too, saying, "…………………!"

You get the picture!! Nary a damn word!!!!

4. Republican Omnibus Bill Involvement

Here is an excerpt from FOX News about the omnibus bill: "Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., is actually the second-biggest earmarker, according to the list, with 64 earmarks worth $114 million. Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., is a few notches down, with 65 earmarks worth $76 million. Both voted for the bill. On the other hand, Maine Sen. Olympia Snowe, another Republican who voted for the bill, has zero earmarks.

Also voting for the bill were Sen. Kit Bond, R-Mo., who has $86 million in earmarks; Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, who has $74 million; and Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., who has $25 million. Shelby told FOX News Monday that he's vetted all his earmarks."
