The Audacity of Stupid 2

The omnibus budget bill was written under the G. W. Bush administration by a democratic House and the democratic Senate. Bush didn't approve it because it contained too many earmarks and was 8% higher than the previous budget. Now it's in Obama's hands.

Obama declared, "If my administration evaluates an earmark and determines that it has no legitimate public purpose, we will seek to eliminate it." Although Obama promised to scratch pork barrel spending, he signed the bill into law 3/11/09. He said he let this bill pass because it was a Bush era bill. What kind of a lame-brain excuse is that? You, Mr. Obama, are responsible for anything and everything that happens "on your watch." Your party approved it initially and it is your signature at the bottom of the document so stop playing the blame game.

Of the approximately 9000 pet projects in this over grown pork chop, 60% belong to democrats and 40% to Republicans. Here's a report by the Washington Times, "The roughly 9,000 pet projects in the spending package, known as an omnibus bill, include $951,500 for a "sustainable Las Vegas" study, $238,000 for the Polynesian Voyaging Society in Honolulu, $190,000 for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyo., and $24,000 for a program in Pennsylvania to promote sexual abstinence." Do you see any "no legitimate public purpose" pork? Obama doesn't. Then again, "legitimate public purpose" leaves a very wide door.

From bailouts to budgets, from parties to patsies, the Obama administration is running our government like kindergarten kids. The lack of respect they claimed the U.S. had under the Bush administration has turned into overt laughter at the current admin.

I predict a total meltdown of the Obama regime. He's in way over his big ears.

How do you see it?
