Obama's Road Show

I found Barack Obama's appearance 3/19/09 on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show" an absurd idea, not funny, and a waste of taxpayer's money. Obama tried to be cool and appeal to the younger "hipper" crowd. He displayed a silly, teenie-bopper, nervous laugh throughout the show.

His biggest fan was Leno himself, who hates, is disrespectful of, and habitually still makes jokes about, President Bush. Leno was giddy in anticipation of Obama's guest spot. He repeatedly declared how excited he was to have the president as a guest. Leno seemed to be suffering from the Chris Matthews syndrome of "I felt this thrill going up my leg." It was a disgusting display of "in the tank for Obama" by Leno. Then again, we expected no less.

On Sunday, Obama moved on to be the featured guest on the CBS show 60 Minutes. Another giddy performance, but this time it was only Obama who was giddy. Obama would laugh when talking about serious matters such as the economy. His ditzy performance prompted Steve Croft, the host, to ask Obama if he were "punch drunk." Obama replied it was just "gallows humor." That's really funny; let's all laugh………ha ha!

All of this culminated in a nationally televised "press conference" on Tuesday, 3/24/09. Although billed as a way of answering questions that concern most Americans, Obama did little to answer anything, and he needed a teleprompter to do it.

I think this kid is a phony. Other than leading our country into socialism, Obama has done nothing but spend our money. He is the empty suit we've been warning you about for years.
