And the people say .
Were having a potpourri this issue with so many things going on.
I guess we will start with the oil prices.
Its funny, the mindset we get into. When gas prices initially hit $1.89 a gallon, we were incensed. Today in our neighborhood the price again hit $1.89 and were all running to fill our tanks. The difference, of course, is this time the price hit $1.89 on its way down from $2.10 a gallon. Doesnt $1.39 sound great? And we complained when it went that high. So things are picking up and we didnt even use our strategic oil reserves as some of the dems wanted. I guess the Republicans do know better.
How about Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi whining because they werent invited to speak at Reagans funeral service. Duuuuh! Pelosi calls our current Republican president an incompetent and expects an invite to a Republican function even if it is a funeral? What a dweeb!! You want a second opinion? Shes ugly, too. Yes, we can and do get personal.
Clinton bad-mouthed Bush "41", Reagans veep, during his presidential campaign and hes sore because he didnt get an invite? No, its more of an ego thing with Clinton. No TV face time. Go sniff a cigar. CSW has no use for you. Red, red "whine". Thats a song. Thats their theme song. Arent they pathetic??
Hey! How about the newest fad word? Have you noticed how struck everyone seems to be? His statement was striking in its untruths. I was struck by her beauty. Senator, Im struck by your callousness. Listen for it. Youll hear it. Id like to be doing the striking to some of them.
STUP of the WEEK
Rep. Schakowsky, Stupified
There is a dweeb in congress who is being promoted to Stup. Her name is Representative Jan Schakowsky, D-IL, who doesnt know truth from fiction. Obviously shes a democrat. I am going to show you how these democratic dweebs operate through lying and spinning every damn story they possibly can and the liberal media reports it (and they keep telling us that Bush lied). Read below.
GAO investigates DoD for misuse of funds. Senate Government Affairs Committee meets today, June 08, 2004.
Premise:
"The Defense Department spent an estimated $100 million for airline tickets that were not used over a six-year period and failed to seek refunds even though the tickets were reimbursable, congressional investigators say. The GAO estimated that between 1997 and 2003, the Defense Department bought at least $100 million in tickets that were not used or used only partially by a passenger who did not complete all legs of a flight. U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) today testified before a Senate Committee examining the latest waste, fraud and abuse scandal uncovered at the Department of Defense (DoD) by the General Accounting Office (GAO)."
At a time when our soldiers are patrolling the streets of Iraq in unarmored Humvees, and when the Bush Administration is asking for record Defense spending, Secretary Rumsfeld is letting hundreds of millions of dollars that could be used to protect our troops and our country go to waste. We need to change the culture at the Pentagon. We need leaders who will fix the problems at the Pentagon or President Bush must replace them.
She added, Weve known for some time that DoDs financial management is atrocious. The latest GAO reports show that it is not only irresponsible but dangerous for our country to have the Defense Department continue business as usual.
She concluded, Because of a culture at the Defense Department that seems to persistently tolerate abuse of public dollars and public trust, precious taxpayer funds continue to be wasted. Meanwhile, the Congress is providing DoD with increased budgets at record levels. With all of the new homeland security needs our nation is facing, we cannot afford to waste a single penny that might otherwise be making American safer.
Conclusions:
Is the picture becoming clearer to you with the red highlights? Did you catch the timeframe? I am not sure to which six years they are referring. Between 97 and 03 there are 5 years. If they mean 97 to 03 inclusive, it becomes 7 years. If you use either 97 or 03 then its 6 and I dont believe it includes 03 because it is too early for those figures to be prepared. But in any case, Bill Clinton was president and Rumsfeld was not Defense Secretary for the majority of the time, four of the six years.
The press used terms such as the ..latest waste, fraud and abuse scandal
Schakowsky says Weve known for some time that DoDs
Where was this dweeb when all of this was going down? Oops. Excuse me. Bad choice of words when talking Clinton. But you get the point. Not once did this soon to be stup mention the Clinton administration.
And Schakowsky's exponential inflation is running rampant, Rumsfeld is letting hundreds of millions of dollars .go to waste. Well, there she goes again. It started as $100 million and now it's hundreds of millions. And as I said, never does she acknowledge that this waste was over 6 years, 4 of which were the Clinton years when William Cohen (Jan. 1997- Jan. 2001) not Rumsfeld, was defense secretary.
Here is an interesting fact. The investigation was called for by Schakowsky and two Republican senators; Senator Charles Grassley, (R - IA) and Senator Susan Collins, (R - Me). Didn't these Republicans notice a whitewash taking place or are they McCainites? More to come on them. If we aren't getting the whole story, the wrath of CSW will be on all concerned like flies on stink.
It is so very sick. It is so like the liberals. You absolutely cannot believe the news stories or network news loaded with the elite left wing media bias. AND YOU MOST CERTAINLY CANNOT BELIEVE REP. SCHAKOWSKY. One sick lady. Probably dizzy from all the spin. And we're still questioning the sanity of her two Republican cohorts.
But anyway, congratulations to her on being named
CSW'S STUP OF THE WEEK.
Rep. Jan Schakowsky
