*MAJOR BUSH ACCOMPLISHMENTS*
IS THIS ALL THERE IS?
(Kerrys Senate accomplishments follow)
- We have an $11 trillion economy that is in the midst of nine consecutive quarters of economic growth.
- GDP is growing at the fastest rate in the last 20 years.
- We are growing faster than any nation in the developed world.
- Interest rates are at a 40-year low.
- Inflation is in check.
- Homeownership and household net worth are at record highs.
- The unemployment rate, at 5.5%, is well below its peak of 6.3 percent last June. (Clinton was re-elected in 1996 when the unemployment rate was 5.5%.) This is below the average of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and well below the 8.8 percent unemployment rate of the EU.
- Our economy has created 1.5 Million jobs since August 2003.
ALL OF THIS DESPITE:
- 9/11 - the worst attack in our country's history
- Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, the Taliban, Al Qaeda, Afghanistan, Iraq
- Corporate corruption (unchecked during the Clinton years)
- the stock market bubble bursting
- democrat obstruction in Congress
- a hostile press!
- While winning two wars!
- Freeing OVER 50,000,000 MUSLIMS in two nations!
- With the fewest American casualties in any war ever!
Oh and by the way...
- America [Under Bush] spends more money combating Aids than the rest of the world combined!!!
- Reagan implemented policies in his 1st administration that barred federal funding for human fetal tissue research. Not Bush! President Bush approved the 1st-ever federal funding for stem cell research. $25 million!!! (Although Clinton promised it when he ran for President in 1992 - he never delivered)
The above contributed by a CSW reader. Thank you.
If you can remember them, they make great ammo against liberal whiners. Of course, they will still find a way to negate them.
