FROM the COFFEE SHOPS to the BARSTOOLS

What the Real People are Saying

Warning! Not Politically Correct Because We Don’t Have To Be

CSW 31-2

The Coffee Shop is Open

And the people say…………….

WE WERE JUST THINKING

(Didn’t you smell the smoke?)

We find it hard to believe that Senator John McCain has made it this far in politics with this righteous attitude of his. From Abu Ghraib to Zell Miller, he sees everything "as over the top". Didn’t we make him STUP of the week earlier for his criticism of Senator Inhofe's statements and his damning attitude towards the Abu Ghraib U.S. military guards? Sorry, Arizona. He’s getting close again!

McCain On Zell Miller’s Speech:

"I think it backfires," McCain said of Miller's remarks about Kerry. He said of the speech that it "makes Buchanan's speech look milquetoast" (referring to Pat Buchanan's highly controversial 1992 Republican convention speech in Houston that some say cost George Bush "41" the election).
McCain made these comments at a party he gave Wednesday night after the convention.

CSW’s Response:

From what bar were you watching what convention? Look McCain, if you don’t agree with Miller about Kerry's record, don't shoot the messenger, argue the facts and defend Kerry! Or was it the vigor with which the speech was delivered that has you upset?

Might McCain be saying these things because someone stepped on his buddy Kerry's toes by speaking the truth? Or was he sore because Zell and the other speakers upstaged him? You know McCain, the truth is harsh sometimes. Get over it. You’re whining like a democrat. The undecided voters were overwhelmingly impressed with Zell’s speech and unless the liberal media get involved and ramrod negativity, there will be no "backfire".

A McCain spokesman, Marshall Wittmann, said of McCain, "He would prefer to see Democrats not as our enemies, but rather as Americans who have good intentions but policy differences." What a crock!! Soon McCain will be saying of Zell, "Father, forgive him, for he knows not what he says". Where have you been the past several years, you jerk, when these "policy differences" included enough slander of President Bush to make the "National Inquirer" happy for a year? Enough of this! You kiss Kerry’s bottom and we’ll give Zell 5 stars in spite of you!!!!!!!!! Sorry again, Arizona. This McCain guy gets us as hot as Phoenix.

And speaking of McCain's buddy………….

According to the Harvard Crimson, a Harvard University newspaper, John Kerry tried unsuccessfully to obtain a military deferment to study in Paris after graduating from Yale. He was denied the deferment and enlisted in the Navy. Kerry has not denied the story.

According to the Democratic Party's version of Senator Kerry's military history, he joined the Reserve Officer Training Corps through eagerness to do his duty and went to combat as soon as he graduated in 1966. Excuse me? And the swift boat vets are lying about what? Where is the almighty liberal press on this story? Probably beneath the blankets liberating themselves.

And speaking of Insanity:

Did you catch Republican Pat Buchanan and democrat James Carville on Meet the Press Sunday? What jerks they are. America deserves self-adulation for denying Buchanan the presidential nomination each time he’s tried. What radical ideas he has. He blames 9/11 on us for occupying holy ground in Saudi Arabia. What a girlie-man. And Carville said the Republican Party should be ashamed for putting Zell Miller center stage to make a fool of himself. He also blamed the Republicans for writing Zell's speech and "forcing him" to present it. "Achtung!" Desperation is defined as "THE KERRY CAMPAIGN".

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your attention and have a good evening.

The bar is open, again.
