Here we go again. The 9/11 commission met with Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney Thursday. We don’t know what was discussed but it had to be boring or something because the vice-chair Hamilton and one of our favorite stups, Mr. Kerrey (see archive # 4), got up and walked out. They said they had prior commitments. Can you imagine walking out on the President in the middle of a meeting that you had asked for? I’ll say one thing. They got themselves some biiiig ones. Naaaah! They’re just being typical, stupid democrats (excuse me for being redundant).

In an absolutely political, disrespectful, terrible ratings ploy (it‘s sweeps week), “Nightline” hosted by Ted Koppel showed the pictures and read the names of each of the soldiers killed in Iraq to date as of air time. Pass me the barf bag Betty!! This is sick!! It is sick not for the showing of the soldiers but the reason it was done. A very anti-war advocate, Koppel says it was done to give a name rather than just a number to our dead soldiers. What a major stup! Maybe they were just a number to you Ted Koppel, but these soldiers have never been just a number to us. The real reason it was done was to garner anti-war support by tugging at the heartstrings of Americans. Koppel and ABC both know that, but don't have the gonies to admit it. Instead, they hide behind a false patriotic reason for the show and believe the public will buy it. Unfortunately, some will.

The dems say the outrage they are hearing about this is from the Republicans who want to keep the deaths a secret from the people. They say that’s why the Pentagon didn’t want the coffins on the airplanes being shown (Perhaps the dems forgot that it was Clinton who approved of that procedure. One of the few good things he did). Where are these guys coming from? I mean that is so stupid. We hear about and see these tragedies as they occur. No one is trying to hide the fact we are losing troops. What a cheap, cheap way to try to win an election. I say again. They're just typical democratic stups.

You know what makes conservatives, and Republicans in particular, special people? We think for ourselves. We are not yes men or yes persons. For all the ideas and comments appearing in COFFEE SHOP, there is a large number of differing views from our readers in response. The democrats all think alike. They are afraid to stray too far from their core thinking and that's why they have a stup like Kerry running for president. He's a deadbeat with archaic Kennedy/Byrd ideas. Just one more reason why they will fail in November.
